Looking for DOL dev called 'South' from the TABULA RASA game

South might not know about the new Tabula Rasa private server though cos I only just found out it myself (via the facebook group I mentioned)... Though I suppose he might have got in touch with one of the old ones where people gave up/got distracted by real life responsibilites, maybe handed off his work to them maybe thinking it was safe then disappeared, and then they wandered off with it? :S I hope not

thanks so much, I am honestly not a spammer!!! I was just trying to be friendly and see if anyone else knew South, seriously, I didn't bother anyone more than once! if not interested why not just ignore it rather than try get me banned, why does it matter to you personally that I asked other people is what I don't understand I had meant to chase this up and google in 2009 and then see if I could get back in contact (I showed proof to Etaew when they was online that I wasn't making what I said up I just don't want to link it publicly because I have had problems with stalkers before so I try keep my identities on different websites seaprate when possible so they can't be googled as easy.. paranoid I know but yeah sorry I would have posted it otherwise to prove I wasn't lying) but forgot about it... I only got motivated again when I saw this thing on Facebook... I was thinking maybe South might be one of the less active people, since it's been like 2 years I am really kicking myself for not doing this before when I should have just after the game closed but yeah I was hoping I could still at least try get in contact still

but nevermind... it was just really horrible, I was even downloading the game from the official site so that I could try your game out... And then this happens while I was at work so I couldn't reply to the accusations of calling me a spammer in time, I jsut come back and found that I have been banned while away I honestly did not ask anyone more than once, I tried to be polite as well


anyway to try help you lot again (thank you so much for not banning me again tho really sad to have lost my Marissa McCarver account over this I hope the messages I sent to inactive people that were still in my Outbox and not Sent Messages were not lost now that might have actually helped you as well by bringing people that don't check much back to your site I probably actually helped by sending those PMs but if my account was deleted I guess the messages that were in my Outbox still and not in Sent Messages are now deleted too before they could ever get sent? ) ::::

I was wondering, on your download page why you don't just have a direct download link? Because their site tries to encourage you to give them your email and sign up 'for a free trial before you can download it, you should probably warn people about that, it could make dodgy issues with them being able to see the click referrer from this site then getting real life identities of people via their emails, they might want to try attack legally, I should i should mention that, you really probably don't want people making accounts with their names and emails on that site with it telling them through the click that they came from here, maybe even using the same username if they are not careful

Or link direct to the download on their site! I just went back to the darkageofcamelot.com/trial page and clicked Download and you don't need to do any of the other steps after all, i ddin't realise cos i was following their misleading instructions

maybe you should say on your download page to just click that and not give them your personal information! Or just link to what the button goes to which is l3-cdn2.nap.eamythic.com/daocpatch/installer/DAoCSetup.exe - it looks like it isn't one of those links that change a lot (like windows live skydrive or akamai etc), I had problems using windows live skydrive to host the music for the player on my site, it worked at first but later they started changing the links so they don't anymore: http://tabularasamemorial.org/playlist.xml (you have to go to right click on the page then View Source to be able to read the links to see what I mean, the player is in the topright on http://www.tabularasamemorial.org - it broke because of windows live changing their download links, I think they introduced it because of people like me using it for stuff like that bleh, if anyone else has some suggestions I would be very grateful on that by the way... mediafire rapidshare megaupload etc none of them are really suitable because you can't stream the MP3s from those) (by the way if anyone can give me any advice on my forum with *MY* spambot problem I would be very appreciated!!!

I can't program for toffees but I remembered this and hopefully hopefully if they [South] still have whatever the network stuff saved was around it will help them... It would be really cool if so then I will have at least done something (talking of spam, I had to lock down my http://forums.tabularasamemorial.org/ because of spambots, it really is horrible really, they make thousands of them.... I had to put it on approve by hand... so if you have any experience on dealing with that stuff it would be cool... if you look you will see what I mean, it's pretty much just me and 2 other friends posting there now, everyone ended up moving to facebook and that new infiniterasa.com place (the programmery people that need the [South's] data)

I use the links to try explain better than I can, I know I panic a bit too much sometimes -.- I am not being righteously indignant, I am saying sorry! how does coloured text mean I am a spammer I don't understand, I was doing that because I realised I got carried away and wrote a bit too much and I knew some people wouldn't want to read it all

I didn't set an avatar before on the account on the first page (that got deleted), honestly ask the people that replied on the thread before... I actually that might have been another reason you thought I was a spammer or whatever, the reason i used an avatar this time was I was thnking the other way around Because most of them are not very smart etc even when they write human sounding messages (again I have that problem on my own forum that I linked above, that's why I had to shut it down to need owner approval of new accounts, I hate having to have it like that but they ruined my site )
