I think all other classes besides paly, their self afs are considered to be spec afs. Paly is the one exception because they also get an af chant, and they made it so the 2 stack, and from experience I know the ones that can stack are base, self and either spec af/chant. There is a reason I choose shaman for bot of my paly, because out of the chant I rather not have to pulse it was the endo, rather than af.
I am pretty sure tics, can't get 3 afs, as I occasionally grouped my tic with a healer and IIRC the spec af did not stack and think same goes for friars.
I know playing buffers that I never cast base af on casters because I knew from playing them that if they did I couldn't cast my self af and the self af is fairbit higher delve (for same level buff). I know when I use to group my cleric bot with my cabby that I would cast spec af on her so know they can coexist.
Basically, I believe it goes like this, which is pretty much what you had except for where the paly's self af /chant fit in:
Cat 1 - base afs, caster self afs
cat 2 - self afs of noncasters (except paly), and spec afs from healer/cleric/bard
cat 3 - paly self af
