Class recommendations ?

Hello Guys,

i basicly just recently started playing on Storm D2 and its really cool But i really don't know what class to play. i know that everyone has his/hers own prefference but i would like to know which char is really good for farming AND bossfights.

I rolled a bainshee and she kills mobs like ... hmm.. like... well.. really quick but is not really a Killer in Bossfights.
Is there a class who can do both ? like a thane or another hybrid class ?

A recommendation please Help me chose wisely.

hmm, Warlock and any tank or Theurgist seems to do very nicely.

ever tried a matter cabby or a mana ench ? Pally is real sweet too, you might wanna try a friar for a change. it all depends on your way of playing. every class cann kill like hell in D2 even clerics (can't believe i said that) The best way of playing D2 is by having fun thus try the classes and keep the one that suits your playstyle best.

I had a blast with a vamp

Not sure how they are atm, haven't been able to play for quite a while now.

Vamps are probably the most overpowered class in D2 after level 30 or so. Before that they can be a real challenge, which keeps some people away. There is also a low level bug that prevents vamps from getting power until level 3 or 4. Core issue, some kind of rounding error, on my list.

thanks for the answers I think i will try a warlock. i never really played one but i liked how the spells looked Since i already have a vamp on the rvr shard i need a little bit of a change

but i will keep that in mind for sure.

A Bane at 50+ is nasty for farming, not really bosses but everything else.
