Game Wont load

Hello. I have recently installed DAoC on my computer, and it worked fine, along with the daoc portal. Now, i am installing on a friends computer, doing everything exactly the same and it does not load the game when i click play on the daoc portal. Can anyone give me some pointers?

I downloaded the game from the dark age of camelot website, patched to the fullest patch, downloaded the game client 1.109,(which works on my computer), pasted it into the folder and replaced the old one. Then I installed DAoC Portal, edited the settings so that the path for the DAoC Folder is the right place. Then i save the settings. I try to log onto the Uthgard server, but when i click play, the mouse pops up with the busy sign for a second, the goes away and nothing happens after that. Any ideas? This same process has worked on 2 other computers. Mine had windows xp home edition, another friends had Windows 7, and this one has Windows XP Professional.

Did you install the Uthgard OF patch?

Did you try connecting to any other servers?

Yes and Yes. Nothing is working. Right now im going up update .net framework from 2.0 to 3.5, or try to

Afaik you will need to have .net 3.5. So get that. Perhaps you will need to reinstall the portal after that to get it to work properly.

ok ill give it a try, almost done download the framework right now, so it wont be long for my next post.
