People leaching diablo 3 on other's event

So i started a Diablo 3 event by killing maphisto and activating the 4 seals, and when i get the D3 keep a player is there beating on the door and proceeds to kill diablo 3 take the loot and run.

Clearly there should be a lock out at the first gate to those who do not have that event. You should not be able to sit there and camp others events

For all involved, please post conversations in IRC in case of questions like this. My opinion is group up and kill together. If you want it solo you will have to find a time when no one else is on.

Ok np i won't talk crap no more to those leachers instead i will now do the same since you say it's ok. I will log out in front of the diablo 3 keep like he did and wait for event to start and leach away.

I'm not about to be forced to group. plus he never asked to group he was just there when i got there and kept telling me to hurry because he wanted to kill diablo 3
Never once did he want to group, so what it boils down to is camp leach and who ever kills first gets the goods!

22 minutes passed before d3 was killed, if i were on and was wanting to kill d3 i would of went for it too. Lots of times people that cant kill d3 start the event and just leave with him still spawned. If it were me i would have done the same thing as kiesel, he did at least wait for you.

Look on the upside... there will always be another spawn. No need to fight over something that will always be there ya know?

Ya Gerk i was just very upset last night, I had only about an hour of time and i died once trying to kill him and he killed him before i got back.
And honestly the argument that he waited for me? what do you mean? he was not in my group nor did he want to. he just waits to see what class arrives and he then knows that he can kill it faster.

I was always under the impression that the event was locked after a person or group activated the seals. And after killing maphisto i noticed I forgot to empty my pack i had full with combiners and socket wrenches. So i teleported to house but my portal said it was unsafe to go back, so i had to run all the way. That's why it took a little longer. Now that i know its free for all, I'l be sure to be ready next time with 4 accounts logged in lol!

So there ya go. The biggest issue I have is your completely over the top negative reaction. You accused him of camping and then admitted you had to do other things after spawning the event. I mean really, rather than a purposeful kill steal this looks like a series of unfortunate events.

Hypro, your premise is wrong and your argument is absurd.

- The D3 event is DESIGNED for multiple players, I tuned it to have extra defense against 2 attackers or less.

- It appears in the above case the player who killed D3 thought you had abandoned the event.

- If someone does leach, repeatedly kills D2 after another starts the encounter, you can report it here and I will respond appropriately ... but so far it's NEVER HAPPENED.

- I don't think you WANT to understand, so the thread remains locked. Either you get it, you quit, or I ban you.

One final thing. If you want support play on a live server with people who get paid to make and support the game. You play here at my pleasure. If you don't like leave. If someone told you I was a kind understanding individual, you were lied too.
