Hey Folks,

Obviously i cant log into my old account - i am (old) Eyebalze and had a few Serverproject running in the past.

Since last week i am back up in the DOL Section and my server is running smooth and fine. - a few errors but nothing critical i couldnt get fixed ...

BUT, now i am on a point where i cant go any further without any help from you guys!
I started up with the latest SVN Revision 3327 / Visual Studio / bla bla - all worked fine!
I had a few Database errors on Misimouse but the DOLPubDB-Alpha (newest) saved me!
So for now everything on the server works fine, the teleporters, mob drops, lootgenerators etc. - its playable!

My problem is, that the Keeps are all shown up in new frontiers and BGs. but they are just White and all the guards are double-spawned (no fix with /keepguard position remove - they instantly respawn) !? - here a screenshot

So could anybody help me out with the White-Castles ;) and the guards?

Hi,
1st try /keep baselevel 50 and reboot
if don't works use /keep level 1

OK following happended,

Ive done the commands you gave me, on the NF Keeps/Towers and the BG Keeps/Towers - and nothing changed, just the keep structure changed a bit but the whole thing keeps up beeing white.

But then i tried something, i flight into the Bledmeer Keep (worked on every NF Keep), even though I was afraid of suffering from eye cancer, and killed (one of the 2 spawned!?) Bledmeer Jarls, suddenly the keep structure changed to what it should look like! - This try was before the server reboot! -

After Rebooting - "Bledmeer Keep", keeps in the normal new_keeps structure - 1st Job mediocrely done ;)

Second stage are the guards - now i also turned off the following serverproperty
FROM_
automodel_guards_loaded_from_db (false=load from db) True True
TO_
automodel_guards_loaded_from_db (false=load from db) False False

Seems that the double-spawn Guard-Problem is also solved with that!

Now another problem that came up on testing purposes in the last five minutes -
all the solvings from above wont help in BGs - doesnt matter if it is Thid or Molvik - all PortalKeeps/MainKeeps/Towers
are white - they cant be fixed with /keep level 1 or /keep baselevel 50 (obviously this just make them dissapear after reboot)
- also there a no spawned guards, - /keepguard create --- just sais Keepguard succesfully added, but nothing appears. even after another reboot ...

Any ideas :/? thank you!!

ALRIGHT GUYS! I FINALLY GOT IT!

Again an DB Issue ...
It was just the SkinType entry in the DB- Keep.Table it was set to 0, i changed everything to "2"

could be closed :)

No Problem! - for other ppl who`ll read this topic
Keep DB Table = SkinType must be "2" for new keeps and "1" for old keeps! ("0" is white no strucuture castles=bug)

Oh you had created manualy ?
No, i did not, but i think its because of misimouse`s old DB entries ... glad i could fix it again :P!

I am also having the issue with the keeps being white.. and very blinding :P ... no double guards tho... however...... I dont have a entry in my keeps table for skintype... DO I need to add this entry? or am I just being silly?

The double guards is in code bugged so i think the db entry is needed.

Just a quick follow up ? I'm taking a guess that the SkinType matches the realm assignment? 1 = Albion, 2 = Hibernia, 3 = Midgard

SkinType tells the Keep Manager how to "load" your keep...

If it's set to 0 it will load any Keep Component regardless of their Skin ID
If it's set to 1 it will load only "Old Keep Component" for this keep. (all attached Keep Component with skin ID between 0 and 20)
If it's set to 2 it will load only "New Keep Components" for this keep (Skin ID > 20)

This can have weird behavior when using Skintype and serverproperty "use_new_keeps", because it will try to check both conditions!
