Endless Patch Loop with connect.exe in Portal

Hey Guys.. installed Daoc Portal..wantet to patch now im in an Endless Patch Loop with just 1 file : connect.exe.. and i cant find any fix for it hope you can help me

Make sure you are running Portal as admin so it has permission to write to that directory.

For updating you need Administrator rights.
So delete the files are .save copies and rename these without .save

I´m running it as Admin. Cant even find any files with .save or something like that. In Portal directory..

Th files i linked are latest.
Try to uninstall DAoC Portal, reboot and use my files directly.

Unintalled,rebooted and used the files directly.. nothing changed.

Okai, verify 'users' have permissions "total control" for folder and files.

WHat operating system are people using that is having these issues? Is it windows 10? The loop is going to be a permission issue, the files can;t be saved, and no amount of chatting is going to solve it. I would grant everyone full rights to the DAOC directory to make sure any user, admin or otherwise, has permission to save files in the game directory and all sub directories.

I'd tested on Windows 10 an have not any problem.
I think he have copied daoc folder with permissions, so windows won't to load soem files.

I downloaded Daoc normaly from the Main Site and im using win 8.1. Will try now to change permissions maybe it works

The problème is not with the client, but the DAoC Portal.
Try to put the files i gave you on you Documents folder and try to launch Portal.exe form.
