This is clearly an error around the embedded web server in DAOC Portal...

this thing annoys me so much I have a lot of trouble using Portal on a Windows Server having most of Internet Explorer features disabled

Which system is this ? Windows 10 ? Linux ?

Windows 10 actually, lited, IE removed :p

You'd better check you have any IE or Edge part installed correctly to use the embedded web "browser" (and not server as I said in my first reply...)

Or you should rely on using specific shortcut with connect.exe to target your favorite server directly

I personnaly never use DAoC Portal but a lot of player do.
I just put here to anyone can correct
