DAOC Portal issues with auto update

So i try to run DAoC portal, it automatically tries to update to the latest version only to give me this error after dling the updates (4 files).

System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The system cannot find the file specified

Not sure what it means or where the problem is. This was a freshy dl'd installer. Can anyone tell me whats wrong with this thing? Thanks. I'm running it as admin as well btw.

Did you try to run the Portal from a trivial folder name ?

Something like, c:\portal or d:\portal, to prevent any error from long path name or special chars...

Do you have any other messages displayed ?

Tried moving it as suggested, no luck. The error message in the first post is the only message displayed, afterwards it closes. Thanks for the response.
