how many of you dumbasses actually read the post? I wasn't bitching, I was stating an opinion, if you wanna call me whiny for disagreeing with your judgement or viewpoint, blow me, if you can't handle constructive criticism, then there must be something wrong..secondly ETAEW DAMN WELL POSTED THE HOW-TO NEEDED TO BE REVAMPED.
Every single point i stated was gotten from searching through the forums, or viewing posts/replies, nothing more, nothing less.

If you apparently have the brain power and intellect of a common cockroach, again, DONT REPLY...this was simply a statement that some things weren't right, and if you wanna jump all over my back, fine, but it just shows how immature you are, and how you really DONT pay attention to what has been stated.

And lastly, fuck you, I stated that ya'll have done a great job so far, if that's showing disrespect, then I don't have any idea who or what redid the definition of compliment and changed it to mean 'insult', because yer actng like 3 yr olds that got told they were wrong without constructively thinking about the message posted in the first place.

Please feel free to do your part in aiding the progress of Dawn of Light emulation software. In general, documentation and community assistance aspects of the project are lacking as there is a severe shortage of dedicated people to fill these needs.

This is an open source project, and an open source community. While DOL members do try to provide a quality service, please remember that these are unpaid volunteer positions which are generously filled by good hearted individuals. The developers of the project would like to see it prosper, but in the same token are not obligated to provide any level of support which you may seek.

If you find community support is lacking, which it is, there is plenty of space available with the DOL team for your assistance. Manage a FAQ for the Support forum in order to introduce new users to support resources, such as where to find answers, how to use forum Search, how to speak to contact developers for assistance via IRC, and how to phrase questions in order to encourage a response from experienced members. Feel free to advance the DOL wiki, as there is a huge amount of information which is readily available regarding the project which should be properly documented, which requires no foreknowledge to do.

If you are interested in working with the DOL software, I hope you too are interested in seeing the project as a whole progress. This includes community relations, which you may aid in improving with effort. Use your reasoning ability to asses your skills and the project, find an area where you feel you can aid the project and do so.

Thank you for your interest in the DOL project, I hope this post encourages you to join our community as a productive and helpful member to help the project continue to grow in the future.

Sigh, three year olds say
fuck you
. Also, It's quite entertaining that ya say:
If you apparently have the brain power and intellect of a common cockroach
. You would think that giving us advice about having a brain would require you to act professionally and NOT like a three year old. Your immaturity is disturbing and quite saddening. I agree with Luhz. If you feel like something is lacking, then you try to do something to fix it. I've been thinking about creating a FAQ site, but I don't have enough questions to make a good one :).

Frankly, everyone who responded pretty much hit the nail on the head at answering your post. In fact, I think Etaew said it the best in just one of the first few posts.

I agree in general. There is no fun to come for help and get junk in reply. (Not that I read most of "help" threads - usually can't help anyway.) Not destroying can be good enough help too.

If people ask the same thing over and over again it can be a hit for improvement somewhere and somehow.

I like guidelines other projects have. All of them:

There's always the DoL Wiki to write stuff in! ;)
