Well - maybe we hit the same problem as before ? Its all
attached to one person which won`t work in a project like this ?
I'm still probably more active then all of you on the site, and don't forget this was my job when I joined DOL.

it wasn't you i ment Etaew - maybe you should stop thinking ppl do always pointing at you.

all i said is the well known "1 person is responsible for 1 task" problem.
The best way a task could assigned well, is pointing it to two or more persons which are responsible for it. I bet you didn`t received the username/password yet ...

It does post the post, thats not the problem - I think someone 'watching' the thread assigned an incorrect email, so when it tries to email them it instead returns an error!

Who knows?

Fine - the domain is now pointed to my Mail/Nameserver.

As a mailserver for outgoing mail you can use localhost.
Who ever feeling responsible for the address spam/abuse@dolserver.net,
its routed to the given account.

Be aware i use smtp-after-pop - that means you need to get
your mail before sending some.

Yup progress is being made! I'll be happy once this page is back to the normal URL, I also edited the board settings to use localhost for mail.

When you are on forum, and move mouse on "Develop", u can choose "DOL 1.8 SVN" and "DOL 1.8 Tasks". Imo, that links are useless. Also, on 1.8 tasks page i've got an error
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user '<cutted>'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/dol/html/portal/includes/functions_task.php on line 2

Sorry for my english ]:

Those links are not present on home page.

Yer, that's an obsolete link, the way I wrote the portal system required it to be done twice, on the portal itself and the forums, so it looks consistant, but I don't feel like updating it when we're developing the new site atm.
