Problems with DOL.

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a problem or two.

I have downloaded the Game and Login thingy, I can't see any patch server though. Basically I can't get it to connect, I have made my own bat file but it just says retrying retrying retrying.
Is there like an idiots guide to doing this? I am behind a network, would that affect it? Everytime I get closer to fixing it some other problem pops up. I would appreciate any help.

Have you started the game server service?
What version of DAoC and DOL do you have?
Are you using the DOL client manager? I would guess you probably aren't if you're using some kind of .bat file.
What's in your .bat file?
Are you trying to connect to your login server or game server? I only connect to the game server, the login server is not necessary for testing DOL.

with 1.67 you must use commande bat technique so see post on it

im havin the exact same problem, it wont let me in the game after i start the server thru my bat file and im not complete understadin everything but it keeps sayin retryin....
and then it gives up, it wont let log in or play my own server, so if someone figures out how to fix this please give me a holler!

if you put the ip of internet on server put the same ip in bat and if you put 127.0.0.1 put 127.0.0.1 on bat file
put the 3 same ip on server for tcp udp and region
adn for finishing rename the login.dll in another name copy the cmd. exe in folder of camelot and rename it to login.dll
and to finish make a .bat and write it in it:
@start login.dll "/C @start game.dll YourIP YourPort UserId Password && Pause && exit"
it s small hack to make the game.dll think that login.dll call it you have a launcher for it too but i have not the adress in memories
