not able to quit or report

I logged on and dueled a bot to test some damage. While I was dueling I got a message about a pvp imunity timer and could no longer test damage. I tried to reduel but could not. Then I tried to /quit I got a message that I would sit for 1875 sec so I tried /qtd, that was removed. I tried to do a bug report and was told that it was disabled. I ended up alt tabbing and close the clients via task manager.

Now 10 min. after I closed the clients I can not log on to my accounts I get a message its being logged out.

Read the message of the day . This bug has already been reported. I believe it has to do with the region timers being 'unsynced' which I fixed last night (check SF patch notes). Don't use 1.94 (/qtd was removed).

I shouldn't use 1.94 because /qtd was removed or that client is causing problems ? I play live US servers so I need 1.94. I really don't want to upgrade, downgrade all the time or install a 2nd client just for free shards.

Mythic for 1.94 disabled /qtd to and I quote "Research a better implementation for this command" (something like that). So, no /qtd for 1.94 folks client side (sorry!).

As for your clients. Copy and paste your current one (no need to reinstall). Obviously, rename the new folder something like <Version> - EU. DAoCPortal -> EU Version -> English -> Run patcher. There now you have a US and an EU versions!

You didn't answer my question is the problem with the sync with the 1.94 client ?

Is the only reason not to use 1.94 /qtd ?

mhn there are a few more... there is a Hyperbattle where i cannot invite and people cannot come in teh grp. (this supports the /q for 2000 secs) and my necro cannot cast spells as well as Darkened Haste (vampiir attk speed enhancer) is almost as if it were a timer spell, and it isnt. The IRC is no longer connected to the server, so the client froze. I cannot /s half of the time, i say the server is reallllllllllllllly messed up today. I dont know if it is like that on the other servers, but... i cant log in, it says my acct is being logged out, try again later. I had to /qtd to get out of the game. srry to add more to the bug list, but these are severe bugs in my case.

Edit: what IStandAloneToo means is you take ur current, copy paste and save it, then you upgrade it on the EU client.

The latest version of the US Client has DISABLED /qtd.

For those of you trying to use /qtd on this client (from what I can gather) unsync's you from the server, and are unable to log back on.

/q and push Exit, or CTRL+ALT+Delete > Processes > game.dll > End Process

Ryan already explained the latest US vers not letting you use /qtd. on version 1.94 it wont let you use /qtd period. the only way i could get out (without shaking my whole computer out of sync) was to /qtd.

phaze, the /qtd command is like going LD, it just unplugs the connection between ur client and the server, it is like pulling a plug. You will be in teh world for a min or two and you are gone. I think they removed the /qtd because it was hard on the server when you have thousands entering and exiting all teh time.
