Double post! Anyways, I agree with Graveen, I was able to make what I had done with buds 100% scriptable. The only thing was I had to work around some of my ideas due to packet modification etc. That was the same issue dinberg complained about so he didn't bother. DOL Is supposed to be modular, and for the most part it is.

My biggest issue about updating the core is not to do with what is possible - because I know you can script everything pretty much. It is, as I've said, morely to do with the fact that any changes to property calculators or the melee/spell code, which lets face it are very frequent fixes, could have a detrimental effect upon the games balance.
