Anti-cheat protection, impossible to play..QQ

Hello, i've one issue with an anti-cheat ( radar ) protection on dol server
I'm not able to play on dol server with this protection mecanics. I've try many things to fix it but i'm still unable to play. Of course I don't use radars ect ...
To fix this issue I need to know how anti-cheats works, i've tried to uninstall my AV/Firewall but it was an epic fail QQ
Anyone know how to fix it please because all my friends play on that shard and i'm the onlyone with this problem.

you should check what other programs you have runing, if any of those somehow is linked to daoc, those might be detected as a cheat tool.
you should also check for spyware, trojans or other crap like that.
But i dont think anyone will give you any details about how his detections work.

You know if I wan't to code a stealth radar I tink I could... the point is something is detecting as a cheat and i don't know what...
I tried to close every active process and launch the game ...

Well, ll i can say you is something is interfacing with your daoc. I suggest you to TEMPORARY disable/remove your antivirus firewall to test if the problem is not related to them.

If you are able to log onto Storm. Then another server's functionality wouldn't be our issue. I would consult about this with the server's staff to find out the issue at hand if you are in fact able to log onto Storm.

The point is I can't log on Storm but I can on red /uthgard :/ I'll try to check files & reinstall if necessary, I'll post after testing

Hmm, it could be perhaps a client version too low? Storm requires 1.90 or lower, due to the changes to the rvr layout (bridges, keeps) imposed at this point

So after check install & reinstall it doesn't work ...
I hope a Dev saw this post, you've created the script suposed to detect radar but it doesn't work as intended.
After search on Google, it seams radar are used after loging on server,

Graveen. I think someone needs to review the code for the anti-hack stuff. Maybe it's faulty, considering how many people have recently gotten banned for no reason.

So far as I've seen, the whole anti hack system in DOL doesn't work for anything besides lagging players, and the occasional radar user (For the servers that actually have that protection).

In my recent adventuring into C++ i'm looking into making a hook for game.dll that will detect and shut down game.dll when a hack attempts to hook the debug privs to edit memory.

Couldn't they just write another hack that detects your hook and removes it or goes around it somehow? But that would be good anyway, to make it harder to cheat, and add another layer. I don't know why people need to cheat so badly.

To the cheaters I say: It's not like you win real life money for playing, what difference does it make if you play by the rules or if you cheat? It just ruins the fun for yourself and for others. If you cheat, do yourself a favor and get some skills instead.
