Frustrating is the word to describe this... I have done exactly what I'm supposed to do and i still get
'DAoC Portal has encountered a problem and will now close, we are sorry for the inconvenience.'
Error signature
EventType: clr20r3 P1: connect.exe P2: 2.1.0.13589 P3: 5076681c
P4: connect P5: 2.1.0.13589 P6: 5076681c P7: 10 P8:38
P9: system.iofilenotfoundexception
There has to be something I can do to resolve this
You have to install .NET 3.5

I don't seem to think it's an administrator issue, because looking at my permissions I have everything checked besides special permissions, and for some reason i can not check that box..?
and Which file exactly do I make the shortcut from?

so .NET 4.0 is the issue? also i have more than one .net on here (1, 3) should i delete all of them and just get 3.5?

also noticed inthe contents folder when i try to open the server list xml schematic file it says windows cannot find it either.. as goes as well as the DOLLOADER (says check the first parameter?)

Maybe the recent change they pushed messed something up?

DAoCPortal works for all. But it requires .NET 3.5.
.NET 4.0 is not enough.

Is the suspicous line. Something is messed up with the .NET installation. We had the same for some user on Uth which had this problem and installing 3.5 fixed it.

Success! I have downloaded 3.5 and now I can get to the DAoC Loading Screen! Now there seems to be another problem as it finishes loading it says 'Authorization Server not available' 'press esc to exit'

This is a message from Uthgard hinting that you didn't install 1.109 game.dll. At least thats what Metty told me.
