Are you putting the custom spell id in linexspell table as well? I think I had same problem a while back and this was the problem. Windmill 20400 id is in there under combat style effects

Yup. If I assign the spellid 20400 to my custom style, it works. If I make an identical spell using a different spellid, and put that in stylexspell, it doesn't work.

I tried it with the holy staff heal effect as well, with the same result.

there's a table stylexspell, and a table linexspell, im talking about adding it to linexspell. Lookup 20400 in "linexspell" and add your spell id to the combat style effects line

I didn't know that was a thing. I bet you're right, but won't have a chance to check for a bit.
