my classic zone test that produced 275% was done in cursed forest
well that leaves the lvl 21 paladin getting 275% cap in DF and the lvl 44 getting 350%
i'll do some test with this code i added later, and give to you to have a look

Was wrong Lyonesse / Raumarik / Cursed Forest are and Llyn Barfog / Vavern Swamp / Bog of Cullen were once epic quest zones but that dont mean those are epic zones those 2 things are totally difrent things couse the name dont come from epic quest. The name were given couse to ruleset of those zones, and that is another thing that is wrong on dol.

The ruleset of Epiczones is are listed below.

By patch 1.101 those zones are epic zones:
Certain zones are now flagged as Epic Zones. These zones now relocate anyone logged out for more than 30 minutes to a safe spot typically located at the start of the zone, except for the main Realm Dragon zones. The locations for these Epic Zones place you safely outside the Faction towns, near the bindstones. The following zones are now considered Epic Zones:
Dartmoor
Avalon City (and the Crystal Cave)
Caer Sidi
Malmohus
Trollheim
Tuscaran Glacier
Sheeroe Hills
Fomor
Galladoria
Sobekite Eternal
Temple of Twilight
Halls of Ma’ati
Deep Volcanus
City of Aerus

I saw 200%+ cap used in this thread. Thats wrong. Cap is always at 125% of base XP.

To your question above about camp xp: Yes camp xp is a bonus on capped base XP which is simply added. The camp bonus can be up to 30% if I remember right. Not to confuse it here base xp does not include zone bonuses.

I believe you this but xplain me an theorethical question please blue:
If i kill in malmo on current ruleset a mob it give base xp + 75% zone bonus + 3% outpost bonus + 5% artifact bracer xp + 5% artifact belt bonus + 5% guild bonus how 93% bonus xp can be under 125% xp cap (what is this cap related to?) or you say 125% is the cap xp and shouldnt be reached without very high bonus but that would result into the issue my db setting i posted above would be correct and pendragon give wrong xp recording to onthedol tests and mine?

can you clean up the mess with a few words (even more if you feel that way)

Cap only caps base XP + group XP. Nothing else. All bonuses are added uncapped on top of that, as the basis for the bonus is already capped. Thats why you see huge XP on live. They add alot of bonuses.

lol ok all the numbers are crunching properly now. everything i posted above is is wrong

lvl 44 produces odd results it seems. Now im 45 on uthgard the numbers are what Blue says.

34,078,720 (7,864,320) : 34,078,720 -7,864,320 = 26,214,400 : 26,214,400/ 20971520(lvl45basexp value) = 1.25 or 125% of base : 7,864,320 / 26,214,400 = 0.3 or 30% camp bonus

this was not the case for lvl 44 (and maybe some levels below)

37,084,061 (6,846,288) so i could achieve higher xp at lvl 44 than i can at lvl 45, seems odd
if it was 125% at 44, it should be 18258769 x 1.25 =22,823,461 cap x 0.3 6,847,038 camp , add them together = 29,670,500

but this is also the same as on live(more xp at 44 than 45)

ok now that it all makes sense, and doing the same calc for the live xp values, the xp cap is indeed 125% The thing that is changed and producing the high numbers appears to just be very high camp bonus values

lvl 45 live 57,409,536 (31,195,136) , so doing same calcs returns a 120% camp bonus value ( even higher in dungeon)
lvl 21 same formula same results
lvl 44, same formula different results (uthgard and live) so possible a level range starting below 44 where something changes and then returns to normal at lvl 45

long story short for the most part xp cap on live is 125%, camp bonus is very very high

i think i should stay away from testing LOL i'm not very good at it

So right to say Base xp XY + Group Bonus XP can be together up to 125% camp xp can be up to 30% more and if you have 75% dragonzone xp and 5% xp bracer it would result in 125% Base xp + 5% / 30% Camp Bonus +5% xp / 75% zone bonus (listed seperate) + 5% xp?
Or is it 125% xp / 30% xp / 75% xp + [125% + 30% + 75%] : 20 = 125% + 30% + 75% + Result of [] :20 =

I don't know the XP bracer you talk about and never investigated how it affects XP. You would have to test that on live.

I checked my implementation and have to add to my previous statements that camp bonus is applied to the base xp and not the sum of base+group. And yes base+group is capped by 125%. In contrast other bonuses DO use the capped sum of base+group xp. But it gets more complicated as the whole xp calculation is more a complex chain. Zone bonuses for example are applied after camp bonus, so a higher camp bonus leads to higher zone bonus. The farther at the end of the chain the bonus is, the more powerful it is, the more leverage it has.

Sorry I have no idea how current DOL adds zone bonuses. It should be a positive number imo.
