Server issues getting continually worse!

Jordheim and TNN continually crash to where all players logged there or bound there can not access the character. This has been going on for approximately 6 days now.

Additionally, any Midgard player that attempts to go into New Frontiers crashes to desktop.

Any Midgard player that is already in New Frontiers and tries to log in their character, crash to desktop.

The freezes have been getting worse and worse, right now the server has been completely frozen for about 6 minutes. The server freezes approximately every 4-5 minutes. For the last few hours, the freezes are longer then the time between the freezing.

If we expect this server to keep growing, maybe we should pay attention to these very serious issues! Or at least have a GM or way to monitor the server during non European times to provide assistance to the numerous stuck players.

Thanks!

I have no Idea why I can no longer log on to the server except for Alb.
Game client either freezes on loadup or quits to desktop when ever I try to log on to a Hib or Mid.
I managed to log on an Alb but I really only play Mid.
Everything was working fine untill last server reboot.

I need information if you want fixes.

Character name
last known position (names, not loc numbers)
where you are bound (if you remember)
what exactly you were doing when crash or other problem occurred.

If no mid can log into new frontiers I think I would see more complaints that just one. Crashing to desktop is almost always a client issue, but give me the details so I can look into it.

I guarantee it is every single Mid, not just me and all my guildies hehe. It's not just Mids but Albs are having problems creating characters. GM_Oogle or whatever was on and talked to about 5 stuck people. TNN is also a bad zone. Aegirheim is also broken. You can walk into these zones but not log into them if you logged out there, or teleport into them, or release to bind point there.

One character stuck in New Frontiers is Luke. Tried to zone into Uppland, crahsed to desktop and crashes every time try to log in. Bound in Jordheim probably. My other 15 characters all work fine (half were stuck in Jordheim but using the instructions in the other post about this exact same issue I was able to free myself using that work-around).

Every single Midgard player online was having these problems. This is why we need some GM's that can help us during the evening hours (7pm-Midnight Eastern time).

People saw my post on the boards here and assumed that would be enough. I will tell everyone next time to come here and post too if they expect this issue to receive some attention. Look in the logs and see how many Mids took keeps/towers last night or how many got RPs after about 9pm Eastern time.

All these problems started at about 7:40pm Eastern time when the server froze. A GM came online and said the server locked up while sending info to the website. About a minute later a serverwide message came on that said will reboot in 60 seconds. When it came back up, all these problems were there.

These are the exact same issues that were happening all last week, apparently only in the evening USA hours.

More proof it's not just me, on Feb 28th when this same problem was happening a GM moved every character that was logged off in Jordheim to TNN. The next morning everyone logged on wondering why they were in TNN instead of Jord. That couldn't have been my imagination :)

I understand the frustration but I wish I had more character names to work with. I was looking at the db last night and everyones bind and current position looked legal but the server was complaining that people were in unknown zones. When that happens you get moved to your bindpoint so logging in again should fix it if you crash. Is this not working right?

Drugsarebad - Shaman/Spreadsvd - shaman
Jordheim, Jord
Logging into the game, stuck in unknown Zone, cannot use the teleporter assist trick to port out

Probably have more stuck toons that I dont know of. These 2 characters are on different accounts, if you could possibly reset all the binds to SF for both accounts, that would be great. If you cannot, at least getting these 2 chars unstuck would be great.

This is actually the problem. You move to your bind point, but the bind point is what's messed up. Your in the sky, as a golom looking thing with no items. You can't move, but if you look at your chat window you get the message "unknown zone, moving to bind point" and absolutely nothing happens because it moves you to a bad place (the sky!).

The characters that I did rescue, I bound them into Hagall or Svaud Faste. When I went to test to see if i was fixed, I used the teleporter and ported into Jord - and was stuck in the sky. However, that character was NOT bound there, so it was moved to bind point and completely fixed. But anyone bound in Jord (like most Midgard players) just got moved back to where they were stuck, no help.

Same issue for Aegirheim. I went to bind there thinking it was safe. But same thing. I was able to use the workaround posted in the forums to get all my characters out of Jord and Aegir. But couldn't help the stuck character Luke in the frontier.

It's fixed now, but it was down all last night for over 8+ hours.

Here is some more info:
You can walk into these zones, but not teleport or log in if you logged out. If you die and you were bound in one of these zones, then your stuck. For Aegirheim, you were not able to teleport from Classic to Aegir. However, you were able to teleport into Hagall, then use the SI only teleporter and teleport to Aegir and free any stuck characters with a scroll. If you were bound in Aegir and died, you got stuck.

GM_Oogle or whatever his exact name was online during these issues and saw them all first hand but is a "coder" GM and was unable to offer any assistance but said he relayed the info to the right people.

Nydaar
Camelot
Camelot
Used bind recall stone to return to camelot to finish a quest and i found myself in an unknown zone, no items or character displayed, my stats were all 0, level, bp/rp/etc. all 0. When moving it told me that i was in an unknown zone and it would send me to my bind, but i was bound there. When i did /who Nydaar it said i was in the City of Camelot, and I also conned gray to myself.

I also experienced constant freezing lastnight, March 2nd, the longest was, i would say, about ten to fifteen minutes long, but that's just an approximation, it may have been longer.

When I logged in this morning I was in DF, where i was before I used the bind recall stone. When I tried again it worked and I was ported to Camelot and able to function correctly.

Probably nothing :P

It remains strange that such a limited number of people had problems. You didnt change anything clientside? Or anything else on your computer?

Every single person online at the time had the exact same issues. They just don't post.
