more on creating a zonepoints DB for DOL:
so once you create a list of every:
zone,#,dest,x1,y1,x2,y2,z1,z2,indx[,flag]
from the client, you'll want to create a new table that consists of:
indx,realm,region,x,y,z,dir
of which only indx comes from the original list
because the region,x,y,z,dir is from the /loc
after you port. you can use the x1,y1 data to find the portal, if you're unfamilar with the region.

To be complete you need to do this as a char from each of the 3 realms. however, there's mainly only a difference in DF related portals. It also depends on what kind of server (normal, PvP, Co-op) you're planning to run. I recomend adding all 3 realms the same for portals that will only be seen by 1 realm. (ie hibs/albs will never port to VendoCaverns, but allow them to via the DB, otoh maybe you want to port them back to their homeland if they should breach your "security" lines. BTW for those of you that played PlayerX's awesome DarkAges EMU, you'll remember that his zonepoints DB was setup such that the capital city ported you directly to the BG. It significantly reduced the active zones/regions (ya to 4 total) but thats one more way he got as far as he did so fast. Kudos PlayerX!
