Today as i went to zone into Jordheim my DAoC client crashed and has now crashed everytime i goto log in, basically i cannot play my charactr because of this, it crashes BEFORE login i can get to character screen ok but after that i cant do anything, i need someone to move him out of Jordheim. any help would be ubar. Aion.

I just checked and your character is listed as being in Jordheim so don't think it's trying to log you into throne room like I suspected problem might be at first.

Are you able to log other characters into Jordheim? That would rule out whether it is a client problem, or it is something with exact loc or something else about that specific character.

a pentium 4 with 2.0 Gigahertz

512 Megabytes worth of RAM

Windows XP

and you must have for video settings wise...

either a Nividia or a ATI for best perfomance. NEEDS TO BE 3D with 64 Megabytes of video memory.

Direct X 9 or better

and lastly shader 1.1 (for your shading but i do not recall my computer having this at all)

ofc internet required.

Copied out of Dark Age of Camelot: Labyrinth of the Minotaur users manual, but sence Catacombs + uses the same engine but with different graphics and zones added. the requirements should be about the same.

If your computer is below these requirements then it is time to upgrade OR get a new computer

Aye the requirements have not changed for what mythic lists.

There are some graphics changes with the cities/df that some video cards that can run cats okay but experience this type of issue in the cities so yes hardware is a possibility even if you DO meet those requirements if say your video is an ati and your only got 512mb ram.

An admin could move you out of the city for now, but really you will want to be able to go to the cities, so be good to address why your crashing in the first place.

If your video is not a good card, one thing you could try is another video card.

Slightly off topic, but Charu could you make your sig a bit smaller... the dragon alone was kinda big, but now its massive
