It doesn't seem to open any MPK files from daoc.

It just gives the same error: C:\Blablabla\MPKFILE (like local data).mpk is not a valid MPAK package file.

I also tried to open files from wolfenstein to edit my save file, which are also MPK, but same error. Kind of awkward? Opening them in text is just a bunch of random ASCII characters.

DAOC MPK and Wolfenstein MPK files are not the same structure, it isn't a shared format they probably pack the files differently.

Really? Well, daoc files still don't open whatsoever ;(

nvm, apparently the files are corrupted. and save files for wolfenstein DO open, I figured out the problem. was a system issue...

The MPK Viewer which DOL provides works primarily with the MPK files found inside the DAoC directory, and has no issues opening them.

Yea like I said, i figured it out. It was a problem due to a system restore screw up, which I fixed. Was just two files that went boom.
