Dawn of Light

As part of the continual site upgrade it's time for the navigation bar on the DOL Sites to receive an overhaul.

NAVIGATION BAR
- Changed: The navigation bar has been replaced with a drop down navigation bar.

I've opted to let the Storm one remain as it is, the icons give it a nice touch and will require more work.

Let me know if you encounter any CSS problems with different browsers.

Same here, using FF3.6

Sniff, Chrome 8.0, FF 3.6, IE 8 all works for me.

Could you try a full refresh ctrl f5 to make sure you get new html and css

Looking good, only the dark navigation bar seems to be a bit wider then the blue bars above and below

The black bar is larger than header. Can you also let direct link to Storm/Portal/DOL ? It is more "natural"' than Other Sites. Plus, Other sites menu is displayed in an ugly way (overflow on the right etc...)

Last,. The white vertical spacing is not coherent between the 3 sites. Typically, you have 1mm above the black menu, and nothing (or 1px) under the black bar. Can you check on 3 websites to have similar graphical design ? Same, Search is is large font on DOL while normal font on Storm/Portal. Also, Storm does not have donate box.

Agree with pixel spacing, and width not matching.

If I am to put DOL / Portal / Storm back I need to decrease sizes or width for the items. Mm, maybe later.

Yup

It works pretty fine in IE and Chrome .
It Is nice but you can try another color closer to this theme.

The http://portal.dolserver.net/ page still needs to be fixed, the last updated time is screwed up.

And the Portal logo is ugly
