(Live) Patch #507 - ToA Boat Routes

Changes from Phen

-Added: ToA Boat Routes from Hesperos Haven have been implemented. small inconvenience though, you must be pretty close to the boat to board it, I suggest /stick then Right-Click to ensure you are close enough to board it. There is no /disembark command enabled for it, simply jumping will drop you off the boat. The boats will remain at the docks for 1 minute then set sail to their locations. The routes should be labeled in the boats name,Boat to Oceanus Boreal/Notos/Anatole.

I will monitor these boats and await any feedback.

Champion Styles: Part 1:

I have entered Champion Styles,styles and spells for the Rogue and Fighter base classes in to the DB.
One style(Backfire) requires the TARGET to block, I am pretty sure we don't handle this atm though.

We need to add a scaling powerpool to non-powerpool classes with each Champion Level, in the way we have done with the added HP,
roughly 30-50 power units should be more then enough per Champion Level.

Next I will begin adding the missing Champion Spells.

How is boarding done Phen? Then we can figure out how to increase the interact distance. Then we can also figure out the dismount request handler when on the boat, and add the command.

Etaew, you board the boat by right clicking it. Atleast, that's what I did.

yeah i wrote that in my essay up top , i suggest you /stick the boat to make sure your close enough, then right-click it to get on :)

Ok you don't understand me either, what class type is the boat? That will determine where in the code to look for the interact and disembark

that should DOL.GS.GameBoat i think it was.

that's boatmerchant class is using for it.

I love horseboats. They always giddyup over that water and they can jump over hurdles in the water ;)

Atlantean Ferry Boats

To board a boat ferry, simply double-click on it and you will be automatically put on board. As the ferry approaches each dock, the passengers will be disembarked and placed on the shore. You can disembark from a ferry at any point during your voyage by hitting the 'jump' key (A by default).

- To prevent players from jumping off of boats by mistake, a new '/disembark' command has been added. You will need to use this command to get off any boat in New Frontiers. Trials of Atlantis boats will remain unchanged.
Looks like the TOA taxi boats don't have disembark, however locally I have made the changes to the interact distance
