Can't connect for days, update doesn't work

EDIT - It works now. Don't know why.
Hope someone can help me out with this weird issue. I am really not sure what happened, just one day I found out it doesn't work for no apparent reason.
All I get is an error message that says "Could not download server list. Try again later." Well, it has been a week. How long is "later?"
Thanks to anyone who knows.
Here's what happens when I click help>weblist in the portal application (I can guess it was disabled, but none of the links under "help" work). Also update doesn't work, either, as mentioned in the title. I tried reinstalling, but to no avail.
