Warning to DOL users and community.

I got a report from Stephen that some contact may be be impersonating DOL Staff Members

Calling himself Jesse / Godric - Skype DeCepTiVe(scinis), Godric - Lead Programmer

Pretending to be the main contributor behind recent 1.115c+ Portal Update Patch (which was developed in September 2014 for record...)

Also pretending to be a former developer of DOL Core (nowhere seen in Commit Logs), and trying to lure Shard Admins by providing data/code from various Shard (Genesis, Freyad which core is public, Eden, and even future Vivien...)

He could try to scam Shard's Admins/Staffs into giving elevated privileges, or stealing code/fixes/data...


Please be careful about contacts that claims too much achievement around DOL Project, most of DOL contributors have better things to do than trying to get privileges on other Shards !

That name though. Kind of ironic (and silly looking), really. Ah well. At least DOL will never ask for your server database and code randomly... right? I mean this guy's efforts are pretty futile and as funny as those morons that try to get money out of me at work. Like yeah, sure. I'll just give you my creds and whatever funds you want, random person over the phone that's being a dick to me from "corporate".

It's him also on DOL account "Godric". He contacted me several times using the dol webchat with that account.

I'd problems with him in past too.
I'd not retreive him skype id.

This is so very true

Personally I don't believe it's a person until I get a pm from their forum account.
