Champion Weapons

I attempted to get my champion weapon on a shaman yesterday and does not seem to be working.

I am using a UI that doesn't give the tooltip telling you what cl you are but noticed his character and a spirit master that wasn't getting Champ Exp so took them to king to start it.

The spirit master hadn't talked king before so started her on her champ path while Shaman when clicked King it spammed you gained a level 10 times and told me I was cl10.

So King was giving me option to respecialize but nothing else, and the weapon master npc has the logo over his head so tried talking to him and nothing happens, no offer of spec.

Now, I went ahead and got a dragonslayer weapon instead so not a huge deal to not have this but like to fix this for other folks, if I can.

I took a look at the quest DB and not seeing problem but have not dealt with quests before so maybe I am missing something or it is a code problem.

Anyone able to confirm if these should be working (the FAQ indicates they are available through king) and if another classes that has worked recently that I can compare to see if there something not set appropriately?

The issue is very simple cl weapons dont exist on storm but the quest exist but cause the quest refer an non existing item it fails.
Or to be correct cl items exist that were added by empty in the early 2008 but the itemtemplates dont merge the quest item_id that is refered by quest.

Another problem is quests dont know gender cause heroine and hero arent same class for server cause of diffrent names same with shaman and shamaness and with armsman and armswoman so an shamaness cant get shaman champ weapon.

Champion weapons existed as several of my characters have them from before.

This was implemented before and something changed.

The FAQ for server even points out them being implemented.

What i meant is that i guess the itemtemplate id has be ether changed on item or in quest.

Unless I am looking at wrong quest data, the rewards list for shaman has correct itemtemplate ids.

Oddly one of rewards is listed as championhamanTwohandedHammer so thought it might be but found the item template is missing the s for shaman in id too.

I tested some other classes too and not working for them as well so it not just Shaman. I have confirmed I have warden, druid, and vampiir with champ weapons that would have gained through quest/cl levels method previously. My cabby has one too but think she was given it for testing when the weapons were first added.

Also quest has the allowed class ID number, so female versus male character would not come into play.
