open daoc portal and click ctrl + S there you insert your daoc installation. And i guess it target a folder that is not a valid or a bugged installation.
That happen if you downloaded uthgard / brotherland client and patch it without backuping game.dll / frontier folder
Well, I did that but it's still not working. It says: The file Camelot.exe was not found. Verify game path and try again. This is after I ran the patch.
Can anyone help me to get the portal to work?
Or just tell me how to get the portal to work?
For the right installations steps use the Forum and
reinstall the Client and don't patch them!
I went to the DoL download and started it but it comes back with: The installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\DAoC Portal. The installation cannot continue. Log on as administrator or contact your system administrator
It also says this when I try to run the portal:
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Updater, Version=2.9.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.
To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.
Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.
To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].
Can someone help me with this?
