Client crash with hybrid classes since 11.1 CVS

Hi,
i did post it before, but as i got new information, and i discribed it somehow wrong..

The Problem i´m talking about happens when you make a hybrid char, give him XP for level 50 and train him at the trainer. I think it will also happen if you level normal with mobs!
The client crashes and you get the following error message in client errorlog:
Code: Select all
game caused an Access Violation in module game.dll at 001b:0041acdd.
Exception handler called in main thread.
Cver TOA dev

EDX=800000b6 ES=0023 EDI=009f1924 GS=0000

I got this error while leveling a cleric, paladin, or ranger. As i got no errors leveling a mercenary or cabalist, i think it must be a hybrid class problem and has to do with the spellchanges made.
The Error comes with and without latest DBs, also in the absolut naked version of CVS Bin.
I´m using latest CVS from 31.1 now, latest DBs and latest europian client version.. i think 1.71.
Hope you can help with this problem.

I will look at it but it's strange, on Amteneal all seems to work fine.

Also tested it with Reaver and got the same error on two different PCs in LAN.
Seems to depend on the same level, same line spell problem, that was edited on 11.1 release:
Code: Select all
*) Code from Doulbousiouf
- Change : remake the spell list packet sent to fit to the server (with that it
fix the bug in spell with same level and same line)
- Add : detail display spell
so you can find the spell DB which have been changed to work with this
update on doldatadump

I don´t know if it has something to do with the type of leveling a char at a trainer, because in my testing, i don´t level up by killing mobs, but it defently is a problem since 11.1 release and does only happen with chars that get two or more spells at a level in one line.
If you want to test what i did, you have to give yourself xp for a high level (46 in my case) and level him up at a trainer.
It would be good to know if someone else gets this problem too, as i said, testing with cleric, paladin and reaver makes this error.
Thanks!

Can you try to replace all your db with the content on this files to be sure it's not your db an retry please ^^ (very very strange because on Amtenael a lot of paladin are lvl 46 and not even one bug report) :

HI,
first: Thanks for answering so fast!

I´m already using latest spell db, but for you to see what happens: The error just comes while leveling up all the way to 46, but not when you are 46. So i can play with a lvl46 char that i made in december without problems, but if i level up from 1 to 46 by clicking on the Trainer, the client crashes. This happens not at a specific level.. sometimes it crashes with level 15, sometimes with 21,22 or whenever, but i didn´t manage in any of my 40-50 trys on different pcs and with different cvs versions from 11.1 on, to level up all the way to 46 without a clientcrash.
Perhaps, it depends on the time you take to level up, but it can also be a problem with the kind of level the new server version makes..

I don´t know what it is, i just can tell you, that it crashes ;(

Perhaps you could just enter your server as gm, make a cleric char, give him xp for level 46 and try yourself, if your client crashes on leveling up at a trainer.. Thats all i can ask for, to see it by yourself if there is something wrong..
