Housing Requests

I know. Housing's not a priority. I still have to put in my requests though. Right now I can /housefriend individual players only. It would be nice to be able to /housefriend player, guild and account as we could on live servers. It would be particularly helpful for guildhouses to be able to /housefriend guild members as a whole guild.

It would also be nice if most of the NPC's and housing items worked. NPC's such as the teleporters (which dont do anything) and housing merchants (that dont have anything in their inventory) dont work properly and I havent found a single NPC that can be picked back up from the hookpoint (vault keeper does work, but when you try to pick it up it puts one in your inventory and keeps it on the hookpoint). At time there are also many copies of the same merchant standing on one spot (kind of trippy). The house bindstone also does not work. When you try to bind to it for your hearth bind it says "you cannot bind here". There is also the issue that you cannot put weapons up on the wall.
Theres also an issue with the personal bindstone that arises in this zone. When I would try to port out (my bind location was Tir na Nog) I would load into the city, but all NPC's and players were missing. When I logged out to try to fix this issue, I found myself back at my house. The only way I've found that works is a Translocator scroll, otherwise you have to walk out. These are a few issues I think need to be cleared up soon so that we can fully enjoy the housing zone instead of avoiding it completely.

- Bugfix: Players will no longer be in an empty world unable to see objects, players and mobs if they unnaturally leave a house, via a teleport for example.

Etaew, is there any way you can give us any idea of whats going on with housing development and bug fixing. I would really love to be able to effectively use my house, but cant really. If you're gonna start on it soon, I would recommend getting the teleporters working first.

Well even if the last post here has been made a month ago, a reply to that one is missing.
Etaews fix to that 'empty world' thing was a huge step forward for housing. I don't think there are many people of the dol staff interested in housing, it´s not realy used on any server except storm and uthgard (not sure bout that), so not many working on that one. But i am constantly working on housing stuff, i just love housing. Storm is always runing the svn stuff right? Than my stuff should appear here too.
I have a fix somewhere for this npc pickup problem, ill search for that one. I have no idea about the npc status, i am coming from another server and have made custom npcs for that one. But if none else cares for them i will have a look at them.
My current planes are targeting for the housing privileges or access levels or what you call em.

So, while i dont know what the other guys do i am very interested and constantly working on housing fixes.

Forgive me if that's no the code setup, haven't taken a look at C# in a while, and just redownloaded today.

At any rate; bought a house, pimped it out.

Bind stones not working.
Can't pick up my non-functional Albion Teleporter. D:
3 hookpoints, (1 upstairs near wall of front-door for cheapest Albion house, the crafting hookpoint, and the one against the opposite wall from the house-vault) don't work.

I'll post more as I find them. :D 5plat, and spending.

I've found out why the 3 hookpoints aren't working, or weren't working last night.

The must have all the same ID's in the database. After logging in today, and visiting my house, I found an Albion Teleporter at all 3 hookpoints I was having a problem with (minus the craft hookpoint). Quite annoying to have 3 NPC's that won't work, and having no ability to pick them up. Lol.

Paying rent seems to work, so do the notices. (Got a notice on one of my non-house-owner characters, as well as the house owner.

House vault also seems to hold items through restarts.

Will bring guild into the Guild House later, and try to break it for you guys. :D

Housing is not fully implemented at this time and it's a known issue. :idea:

Yeah, I know it's not fully implemented, and by the way you guys quickly broke the TP there, I'm not supposed to be there either. At any rate, I am, so bleh.

Just giving some thoughts on it, as it's something I'd like to see scripted.
